A vision
Even while in the midst of losing his eyesight, Bob DeYoung was clearly focused on the future of Penny Park in the Village of Eastlake. Determined to provide premier access for visitors of all ages, needs, and abilities, Bob spearheaded a community-driven effort to enhance the park and campground located on the eastern shore of Manistee Lake. Bob serves as a Village Trustee and led efforts to establish the Penny Park of Eastlake Fund to help make his vision a reality.
