Manistee County Veterans Transportation Network Fund

The Manistee County Veterans Transportation Network, coordinated locally by the Disabled American Veterans Salt City Chapter #43 in cooperation with the Manistee County United Veterans Council, is the primary source of transportation for many area veterans for treatment at Veterans Affairs (VA) medical facilities.
In two years, the Network has transported 579 veterans 170,319 miles with 14 volunteer drivers totaling over 7,635 hours at the wheel. This fund supports the costs of delivering this critical program.
