The Bill and Ruth Seng Memorial Fund honors the Sengs for their generosity and their deep commitment to the Manistee community through their family businesses, community service, and anonymous philanthropy. Bill and Ruth believed in being generous because it was the right thing to do - not to bring recognition or praise.
In addition to the many ways that they supported our community, both Bill and Ruth served at different times on the Board of Directors of the Manistee County Community Foundation. Bill was a founding Board member in 1986 and served three years as Board President. Ruth later served as Board Treasurer.
In honor of their legacies, the Bill and Ruth Seng Memorial Fund provides support for youth and education programs in Manistee County because Bill and Ruth believed that investing in our youth is the most important investment of all.
